Beacons of hope for her comeback appear to be in place as Taylor Swift’s longtime manager and producer, Steve Schirmer, told ABC News in a recent interview that she has a “full and ready” roster of producers lined up to help the singer achieve her goal of releasing a new album.
The latest installment of “The Real World with Diane Sawyer” was recorded last fall at Schirmers studio in Nashville, Tennessee.
Schirmed has been involved in the Taylor Swift and “Swift’s World” projects for nearly 20 years.
Schirsmer, whose credits include the “Hannah Montana” movie, “The Hunger Games” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” said he was thrilled when Taylor Swift decided to take the helm of her “Bella thorne” comeback album.
“She had a clear vision for it, a vision of what it was and what it would be,” he said.
“I had a chance to work with her on a record called ‘Bessie,’ so I’m really excited to see what she has in store for the album.”
Schirmmer also praised the success of the music video for the song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which features Swift performing the original song.
“The song is so beautiful,” Schirmie said.
Taylor Swift, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2015, was named “Person of the Year” by People magazine.
She will release her new album in the fall.
“You’ve got to give it everything you’ve got, even if it’s just one song,” Schirs said.
The producer said that Swift’s record company is ready to make the album as soon as possible.
“Taylor has always been a very collaborative artist,” he explained.
“When she talks to you, you get a sense of who she is.
She’s very open.
She wants to get it out there.”
Schirsumer is one of Swift’s closest confidantes.
The singer, who is 42 years old, is a former co-founder of her recording company, BMG Music Group.
She also co-founded and co-produced Taylor Swift & Co., the hip-hop group which she has been working with on her new music.
She recently released a music video with former BMG co-CEO Paul Westerberg, which has been viewed nearly 12 million times on YouTube.
The music video is an upbeat tribute to Swift’s mother, who passed away from breast cancer in 2014.
“If you think about how great she was, the world would never have known about her,” Schirimer said.
Schirmer also said he has not had to do any additional work with Swift’s new record.
“Everything that she does, she’s done her own thing,” he added.
“Her music is her music, and she’s going to do her own music.
We’re just going to let her be who she’s been.
And she’s doing a wonderful job.”
