Fender has announced plans to close its Northridge headquarters and its flagship shop in late 2018.

Fender Music, the company that owned the Northridge facility for more than 50 years, announced the closure on Wednesday.

The closure will occur in late 2019, the day after the company’s annual general meeting.

The closing of the business will not affect Fender’s current customers, Fender said.

Fenders Northridge site, located in Northridge, Calif., was purchased in 2009.

It was later renovated and became home to the company.

Fendrich said in a statement the closing will affect Fenders music, audio and video production, sales, marketing and public relations efforts.

“This is an important moment for us to close our doors, and I want to thank our fans, partners and partners who have supported us over the years,” Fendrich added.

“We will continue to work hard to support our employees, our customers, our communities and our communities of artists and creators.”

Fender is expected to close at the end of the year.
